The 7th amendment of 1992, in particular required that the principles of risk assessment for 'new' substances be laid down. The seventh amendment of the directive, 92/32/EEC (Celex no. 31992L0032) replaces article 1-23 of the directive and lay down the reporting requirements. Besides the reporting obligations included here, Member States have a number of obligations of informing the Commission and other Member States. ======= Repealed by Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, amending and repealing Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC, and amending Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, with effect from 1 June 2015.
