Development guide for Member States and its annex are informal documents updated in 2020 by the Commission. It aims to facilitate, in terms of both content and form, the drawing-up of Member States’ reports (Article 10). Part of the guide is annex Reporting templates and formats for Geographical information and summary tables on water quality. This document contains detailed specifications in a structured format for the geographical information (part 1) and summary tables (part 2) on water quality. The report should contain information pertaining to codes of good agricultural practice, designated nitrate vulnerable zones (NVZ), the results of water monitoring and a summary of the relevant aspects of action programmes drawn up in relation to nitrate vulnerable zones. Annex IV specifies reference methods for measurement. The guidance document is a development guide for Member States’ reports on content and form of the reports (to be revised in 2007). It will be integrated into a Water Information System for Europe (WISE). | N |
