Title Data for review of Independently Operated Waste Water Treatment Plants (IOWWTPs)
Description Regulation 166/2006/EC includes (Annex I) activity 5.g Independently operated waste water treatment plants (IOWWTPs) with a capacity threshold of 10000m3 per day.
Footnote No 4 of Annex I of the Regulation stipulates that “the capacity threshold shall be reviewed by 2010 at the latest in the light of the results of the first reporting cycle”.
In the light of this review, the Commission will assess the following reported information:
For all existing IOWWTP (no capacity threshold):
- Location
- Permitted capacity in m3 per day
- Annual load of total organic carbon (TOC) in tonnes (reported as total C or COD/3)
- Annual load of zinc and compounds in kg
- Annual load of copper and compounds in kg
