Description The purpose of this Recommendation is to set an environmental goal for the discharge of offshore chemicals that are, or which contain substances identified as candidates for substitution, in order to set a specific time-frame for moving towards the cessation of these discharges from offshore installations.
This Recommendation applies to Contracting Parties which have offshore installations under their jurisdiction in their internal waters or territorial sea, or on their continental shelf.
